The project aimed to provide an effective and accessible playground within the existing footprint, enhancing the condition, safety, and overall amenity of the space. The improvements increased play opportunities and enhanced the overall user experience, ensuring the playground met the ongoing needs of the community. It focused on promoting healthy and active lifestyles through the creation of vibrant and inclusive recreational facilities. The design also aimed to improve the social, visual, historical, and environmental qualities of the area, making the playground a family-friendly space that invited people to feel welcome. Additionally, the project created safe and attractive facilities that complemented the coastal environment and minimized opportunities for graffiti and anti-social behavior.
